The Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machinart was founded alongside the development of "Machinart," machine magic capable of giving life and intelligence to mechanical dolls subsequently called as "automaton." 1. Kara no Kyoukai 1: Fukan Fuukei
In September 1998, a string of seemingly random suicides leaves Japan baffled and devastated.
