One night, right before summer vacation, Manatsu Daichi, a second-year in high school, sees a weird round rainbow floating in the sky above Tanegashima and ventures there alone. 3. Macross
After a mysterious spaceship crashes into Earth, humanity realizes that they are not alone. The newly formed UN forces decide to repurpose the alien spacecraft, naming it SDF-1 Macross.
